The Edmonds Adventure tour can be customized for Group or FIT travel.
Cruise to the historic village that is becoming the art and travel center of Puget Sound with Galleries, Art Supplies, Sculptures & Wall Murals book ended by The Savvy Traveler and Rick Steves of national fame. Unique Shops are sprinkled throughout.
After a brief pause in Kingston, we board a Washington State Ferry for a second Sound crossing. These are much larger vessels which carry cars, buses and large trucks every day. A twenty minute ride and you will arrive at the Edmonds Ferry Terminal located just two blocks from the historic downtown village and its unique merchants and wall murals.
We start our time in Edmonds by walking South
along two of the beach parks. Brackett's Landing features native marsh vegetation. Olympic Beach Park has whimsical sculptures, more surf and sand.. Very soon, you find yourself in the middle of a marina filled with yachts, sailboats and cruisers.
The Port of Edmonds Marina was named the 2006 National Marina of the Year by Marina Dockage Magazine.
There is time for a short orientation ride through town before we break for lunch. Meals are not included, but there are lot's of options. We have sample menus available for several restaurants.
After lunch, we will point out some of the village highlights. Then, there will be free time to explore the shops and galleries on your own. Perhaps a visit to the bakery, candy store, or a coffee shop or to have a frozen yogart before the end of the day. There will be a complimentary transfer back to your downtown Seattle hotel or Pier 50, whichever you choose.
