Edmonds Tour Group, LLC is a private For Profit Limited Liability Company licensed and registered with the State of Washington. It was created for the purpose of organizing excursion day tours to Edmonds, Washington.

Dick is a Pacific Northwest native. He was born at Maynard Hospital, named he assumes for Dr. David S. Maynard the pioneer credited with naming Seattle. Dick and his father built homes in Edmonds and Shoreline during the late 1950s and early 1960’s. He first moved to Edmonds in 1963. He left for Seattle after a few years, moved back to the area for a brief stint in the early 1970’s, and then returned permanently a decade later.

Genie is a native Kentuckian. Her hospitality is that of a true Southern Belle. She has received a commission as a Kentucky Colonel from Governor Ernie Fletcher of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Born in Louisville, her parents were quite mobile which resulted in her living in several cities across the South and on the East Coast during her childhood and a few of her early years as an adult. She moved to the Greater Seattle Area in 1967, where she has put down roots and stayed ever since.
Dick and Genie live on the site of the Historic Olympic View Hotel in heart of Edmonds. They are members Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and are among the many supporters of the Edmonds Art Community. Long time members the Edmonds Yacht Club, Dick was Commodore in 2004/2005. He is credited as having the vision and being the persistence which resulted in the new Edmonds Yacht Club building, the first new construction on the waterfront in a quarter century.
The idea of creating an “Edmonds Adventure” tour for groups of visitors to the Northwest first surfaced nearly a decade ago. They now have the time to develop the dream into reality, thus the Edmonds Tour Group, LLC has been formed.
